This is the only game that made me consider getting a PS4. I completely lost faith in it when I saw that it is free to play. But... well, it has some hope now. The guys in the video won't STFU, but it's good.

My main worry is that the AI seems to be utter crap. I hope that it's only that easy because it's a demo, and the game will actually be challenging. The combat system looks like it can be a lot of fun.

It can go both ways at this point. I'll either love it or just be disappointed. At least I know I won't hate it.

Also, casual mode Laughing There's so many things that can go wring, so I'll stay skeptical.

free to play?? wtf....? Isn't this the new Capcom release? I thought this was supposed to be like a cross between ryse/skyrim

Yeah, F2P. And Capcom.

I see it more like a cross between Dragon's Dogma and Dark/Demon Souls.

Looks more like DD, but much weightier. Also the perspective seems a bit cramped in comparison to those other 2 games. Melee aim/hitbox system in place, no rapid movements, but selectable skills as well.

Looks more like a dungeon crawler than the more open DeS/DkS and DD.

im not a fan of the UI. everything look waaaay too 'digital' compared to the game itself. neon blue health bars and squares for the map. doesnt look good imo.

interesting how you aim the melee attacks, as opposed to just attacking in a direction. the parrying looks good too.

ooh, i like the ice wall scroll thing. thats a good ability Smile and freeze time, thats an awesome effect, with your spells being frozen as well as all those particles and shit.

buuuut... its F2P. so basically everything hinges on the business model that Capcom are relying on. i dont know what that is, but i hope its a fair one and not freemium BS.

Looks cool, but that UI is indeed atrocious.

I actually think the UI is pretty good. I'm a fan of minimalist UIs. Now, the elements that are actually there, I agree, look kinda bad. But the thing is that it goes well with the setting. It's supposed to be a virtual reality (no idea why they did this), so I think that it's their intent.

The parrying looks awesome, and makes me think that the combat system can be very good if they work enough on it.

The story is set in 2094. Using artifacts you dive into the "memories" they are associated with. The UI does make sense in this context, as it is essentially a virtual world.

I was interested until I learned about the future setting at E3 and it basically being a virtual world/game.

I wonder how many times they said "hai" in that video?

That was a big fuck up for me too. But if the game is still fun, oh well, I just know that I can't expect anything story and/or character wise.
